We can give you all of the technical babble and marketing speak but, the reality is, you need to experience what all of these changes do to this riding experience.

It doesn't happen often however you can experience the 2011 Apex by coming to one of the upcoming Power Tour events near you.

The Algonquin Snowmobile Club, in conjunction with Yamaha Motor Canada, will be hosting a Power Tour event on Saturday February 13, 2010. See all of the details below.

The Olympic Torch is Returning to Mountain Trout House Marina.

The Torch will be on Display at Mountain Trout House during the Olympics. Come in, make a donation, and have your picture taken with the Torch. All funds collected will go to local charities.

On Saturday February 13th, all funds raised will go to Lions Camp Dorset.

So, while you are on the Poker Run, at The Mountain Trout House Check Point, make a donation and have your picture taken and we will e mail you the file.

Once again, Mountain Trout House Marina will be hosting one of the checkpoints for this great event.

The Lions Camp provides a great place for those requiring Kidney Dialysis. Folks get the great care they require in a wonderful Cottage environment.

Fundraising is always crucial so every dollar raised goes to a great cause.

Summer 2010

Yes, it is time to start thinking about Summer at the cottage.

Looking For A Summer Job?

Think you would like to stay at the Cottage and work?

How about driving to work in your boat?

Spend your days off at the lake?

Like to work around people and boats?

Then a summer job at a Marina may be just the thing for you.

 

Mountain Trout House Marina is now accepting applications for summer
employment for the 2010 summer season. There are all sorts of things to do from
running the chip truck to working with Tony in the shop.

If you are interested then you need to do the following.

1. Draw up a resume that covers your previous work experience.
2. Get a copy of your latest marks from school.
3. Attach both of these to an e-mail that you send to us at mth@muskoka.com.
4. In that e-mail you need to tell us why you want to work at Mountain Trout
House and when you can start in the spring. These jobs run until the end of Labour Day Weekend. Also, let us know if there is something you would
really like to do.
5. Follow up your e-mail with a phone call to make sure we got it.

Then the tough part starts as we need to collect all applications before we start
setting interview dates.
