News From Mountain Trout House

 

-6C overnight but rising quickly at 7:30am. Unfortunately the forecast is calling for continued warm temperatures and rain, Thursday through Sunday.

Tall Pines is planning to remove the lake stakes on Kawagama by this weekend. Currently all of the trails in the MSR Region are marked "Closed".

Yes, it it that time again. The time we all begin to think about returning to Kawagama.

Slips at Mountain Trout House Marina

We have a limited number of Covered and Open slips available at Mountain Trout House. If you or someone you know is in need of a slip call Don at 705-766-2292.

 

Slip and Storage Customers

This season we are attempting a move into the electronic age. We are e-mailing all of the necessary documents to everyone that we have a e-mail address for.

In recognition of those over 60 and those who serve their fellow citizens we are offering the following discount program.


10% off retail prices for any new product, boats, engines, generators and snowmobiles. (sale prices excluded);
10% discount on all service, parts, accessories and labour.

Shorter Wait Times for Fuel

We are changing the layout of the gas dock to provide more space for boats that need refuelling. The finger docks have been removed and relocated to provide an open fuel dock that will accomodate more boats at once. We will also have a fuel hose extension so that we can reach most of the boats at the fuel dock.

We thought it would be fun to find out so bring out your best. There will be judges, prizes, ribs and more.

Looking For A Summer Job?

Mountain Trout House Marina is now accepting applications for summer
employment for the 2010 summer season. There are all sorts of things to do from
running the chip truck to working with Tony in the shop.

If you are interested then you need to do the following.

1. Draw up a resume that covers your previous work experience.
2. Get a copy of your latest marks from school.
3. Attach both of these to an e-mail that you send to us at mth@muskoka.com.
4. In that e-mail you need to tell us why you want to work at Mountain Trout
House and when you can start in the spring. These jobs run until the end of Labour Day Weekend. Also, let us know if there is something you would
really like to do.
5. Follow up your e-mail with a phone call to make sure we got it.

Then the tough part starts as we need to collect all applications before we start
setting interview dates.
